We were delighted to be contacted back in April by the Belvoir ASD Family Support Group in Belfast. One of their young members, Riah Ramsey aged 8, has taken to baking during the Covid-19 crisis.
Riah has been baking scores of scones for key workers and the vulnerable members of the community. She has also sent scones to staff at the ambulance headquarters, Marks & Spencer and the new Nightingale Hospital amongst others. Riah has been baking upward of 700 scones per week – that’s over 40kg of flour on average per week!
Well done to Riah for her incredible efforts which have no doubt brought joy to so many through such uncertain times
