- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/ Gas Mark 4 and line a 2lb loaf tin with baking paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, salt and sugar and mix together.
- In another mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the melted butter and milk and pour into the dry ingredients bowl, stirring until the mix is thoroughly combined.
- Pour the mix into the prepared loaf tin and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until cooked through and firm to the touch. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
